Just around the corner of the maneuvering station are two cramped hallways that lead to the rear engine room. The main electrical gear occupies the space between the hallways. Here is the equipment responsible for directing the electrical current from the generators to the motors and batteries. The two powerful electric motors which turn Cavalla's twin screws are below this area.
